Usage; We use for + a period of time to say how long something goes on.

Examples;

• We watched television for two hours last night.
• Louis is going away for a week in March.

During

Usage; We use during + noun to say when something happens.

Examples;

• I feel asleep during the film.
• We met some really nice people during our holiday.

While

Usage; We use while + subject + verb.

Examples;

• I fell asleep while I was watching TV.
• We saw Laura while we were waiting for the bus.
